I started with the Gilded Gore Skirt Pattern. I added the pleating found in the lantern hakama and made combined the two front and two back panels. The closing mechanism was two lapped zippers on the front skirt. I also added the ties to traditional hakama length and the Koshi-Ita. For the pockets, I shaped them to allude to the Sasa-Hida.
