This was just a fun project playing around with patternmaking. I originally made a dolman sleeve with darts, and thought, well, this kind of reminds me of a kimono. So then I added in the belt pattern that I used for my horseriding hakama pants from my final line. Then I fitted the Tonbi coat collar. I didn’t want it to be a bomber jacket so I added a skirt using a skirt block pattern and turned the darts into pleats. From there I just added my ski jacket pocket. And honestly, it didn’t turn out half bad.
