Cloud Hoodie
Design
Took inspiration from this photo, and hoped to design a hoodie with this airy like feeling while using this color pallette
Patternmaking
I took the hoodie block, and first thing I did was make the hood bigger. I don’t know about you, but when you have long hair and it is already up, it is very annoying to have to put it back down just so you can put the hood on. For the sleeve I made it a cowl on top, and a bishop sleeve on bottom. I did this dividing the pattern on the elbow, and then rejoining it together again after I made the pattern adjustments.
Fabrication
I couldn’t find the exact shade of pink I wanted so I dyed some white jersey knit pink.
